Cure: Oysters at Taylor Shellfish Farms Capitol Hill, Seattle

I recently had the most amazing Kumomato oysters at the Capitol Hill location of Taylor Shellfish Farms.  They were celebrating their anniversary by serving grilled, steamed and raw shellfish for local residents.

They have a great selection of local wines, champagnes and microbrews to compliment their incredible Oyster selection. Aaron also tells me they have excellent chowders, which I haven’t tried.

    • I absolutely will- Ballard correct? Have you tried their chowder? I hear it is amazing. We love your hilarious little blog and great, inexepensive travel recs . . . and the name!

      • Yes! That’s where the Walrus and the Carpenter is, and it’s definitely worth going to. You can find tickets for the midnight picnics on Brown Paper Tickets, but they only do them in the winter, so you’ve gotta brave the cold, but it’s totally worth it! Thanks so much for loving the blog… I love your photos! SO beautiful.
